Picking up Theo Peckham He was picked up by florida on oct 15th, dropped on 19th. Still on Florida's roster page (full roster), not on the prospects lists. Also, no post in yahoo. Thus he's fair game.

Bailey to holdout list, Grabner being called up. Here are the holdout guidelines, taken from our rules page: Holdout status is designed to cover players who sign in Europe so that you can still maintain their rights (ie Radulov), or players who take a long time to sign as UFAs. Bailey is simply a young player who was demoted to the AHL which makes him a bust, not a holdout. If you're removing him from your roster he goes to waivers, because he had played over 120 games before this season and no longer maintains prospect eligibility.

Demoting stutter and garrison to prospects, calling up shattenkirk and taking Quincey off IR Sutter doesn't actually qualify for the prospect list as he had 122GP to start the season.

You've already set a president (law term - dunno how to spell it). You allowed Montreal to put souray on holdout status (http://vnhlkeeper.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=659&page=1) He is under contract, not playing in europe or russia etc. EXACT same thing, playing in the AHL. Let me know.

It's a completely different scenario... Bailey just got demoted... Souray has been in a long dispute with edm management and was loaned to another ahl team... I guess there is a little bit of a gray line there but its Pretty obvious what the intent of the holdouts rule is and Bailey doesn't fit that intent, souray does...

Souray has been injured, and is complete shit for the past several years. No team would even claim him off waivers. It's the same as not being good enough and being demoted. He doesn't fit the rule, neither does Bailey I agree, but you can't make an exception for one player.
